I’m based in Nelson and own a Whiting 16.  I haven’t planned on selling her but am currently finishing up my studies and heading overseas for a couple of years so would certainly consider it if the price is right.

The trailer has been recently re-built, the hull re-gel coated and a few fittings on the mast replaced.  However the sails are in average condition and deck showing signs of age, she is still used regularly though and performs well in light and heavy breezes.

I have sailed her with mates throughout the Abel Tasman and Marlborough sounds over the last few years on multi day trips and have thoroughly enjoyed it.
