Some photos taken during recent Tauranga Yacht Club yachting excursions.

1. Around the bottom mark - Elliott 5.9’s:  TYPBC Trailer Yacht Regatta in September each year. A good break-out weekend of back to back Windward leeward racing in-harbour, in preparation for the approaching Summer season. Make it a weekend date now for next September. Six boats or more will earn a Class start. Get your class-mates together and wheel it on up to Tauranga. The in-harbour setting is wonderful and the more boats the more magic it is.

2.  The Fleet: Cruising Yachts right up the River - At the Landing, Katikati on the Uretara River which flows into the upper reaches fo the Tauranga Harbour.

3.  Picnic beached: Summer Picnic - On the beach at Omokoroa, Tauranga, an enjoyed picnic lunch making full use of the beach on a high tide.

4.  Punts by 3:  Ashore.  An evening mooring haven having enjoyed a sailing day in the Bowentown Harbour region.
