Motuoapa October 08 – a great weekend - enjoyed by several - missed by many
A light breeze start on Saturday morning scattered the fleet across Taupo Bay. Piccolo, The Bill, Samurai, Kotuku, Cippolla and Wednesday Night Fever, played the lottery game. So great was the pressure, that Piccolo passed Samurai, - a cup of coffee that is.

NZTYA AMR 2011This years Annual Meeting of Representatives (AMR) of the NZTYA will take place at 10am Saturday 13th August 2011. It is being held at the Ponsonby Cruising Club, Westhaven, Auckland.

NZTYA CHAMPIONSHIPS QUEENS BIRTHDAY REGATTA – TAUPO 2011It really was a weekend’s sailing of two days, one hard and rough, the other soft and fluffy.
Saturday dawned with winds from NNE ranging from 12 – 20 knots with gusts above 25 knots. The direction meant that surface conditions were uncommonly flat, a fact not lost on visiting salt water sailors.
